Overview

The Field Operations Supervisor (FOS) supports the Operations Team by conducting on-site inspections, supervising Security Officers, and ensuring full site coverage across assigned client locations. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, professionalism, and client satisfaction. The FOS works closely with the Regional Manager, Brand Manager, and branch management to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness among all personnel.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for both the client and ADM Security Solutions, representing each with professionalism and respect.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure Security Officers meet appearance, licensing, and performance standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of each assigned property, including emergency procedures, contact lists, and site-specific requirements.
  • Supervise and support Security Officers across all shifts, ensuring adherence to post orders and operational protocols.
  • Coordinate with regional and branch management to always ensure consistent and reliable site coverage.
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Operations Manager and client representatives to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds expectations.
  • Attend meetings with ADM management and clients to provide operational updates, discuss challenges, and plan for upcoming events.
  • Respond to site emergencies and incidents promptly and communicate appropriately with regional and branch management and clients.
  • Coach, train, and support Security Officers in the field; assist in disciplinary actions and performance improvement as directed by management.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and when changes occur in post orders or client procedures.
  • Identify personnel issues, including payroll concerns or employee relations complaints, and escalate appropriately to HR or Operations.
  • Ensure all officers comply with ADM and client requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on inspections, incidents, and operational issues as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Review and make recommendations for updates to Post Orders and training materials.
  • Report any major disciplinary problems, discrimination complaints, or safety concerns to Human Resources immediately.
  • Distributes company communications, uniforms, and supplies to assigned sites.
  • Respond to call-offs or staffing shortages by identifying available officers or personally covering shifts when necessary.
  • Address after-hours issues and “cold start” calls to ensure client sites remain staffed and operational.
  • Participate in training programs, weekly meetings, safety drills, and company events.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support operational excellence and client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2–4 years of security or supervisory experience, preferably in field operations or client service management.
  • Must possess and maintain all required state security licenses and credentials.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in written communication, report writing, and basic computer applications (MS Office, scheduling software, etc.).

 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and conduct site inspections in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
  • Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to respond quickly and safely to emergencies or incidents.

Work Environment

  • Field-based role requiring travel between multiple client sites.
  • May involve nights, weekends, and holiday shifts depending on operational needs.
  • Exposure to a range of environments depending on client site type (office, industrial, residential, etc.).
